Overview
Ensnarement is a Triumph in Destiny 2. The objective requires the player to earn medals by rapidly defeating multiple enemies tethered from a single Shadowshot Super. It is tracked in Gambit play, and players report it only counts in matchmaking, not private matches.
How to complete
- Play as a Hunter with the Nightstalker subclass, which uses Shadowshot as its Super. Shadowshot fires Void Anchors that tether foes in place and slow them, and a single cast uses all of your Super energy by default.
- Queue for Gambit matchmaking. One player who tested the medal in a private match found it did not count, and had to repeat the attempt in matchmaking.
- Bring enemies low before you tether them. Lowering enemy health first is suggested, since some low-health targets were needed for the medal to pop.
- Cast Shadowshot into a cluster of enemies so the anchors tether several at once. Tethered enemies take 35% extra damage from all sources.
- Shoot the tether into the ground or finish the tethered group with follow-up damage. Players have reported tethering about 15 enemies and letting the tether damage finish them.
Tips
- Moebius Quiver fires Void Arrows that seek nearby targets and deal bonus damage to tethered enemies, which helps when the group is spread out.
- Orpheus Rig restores ability energy for each enemy you tether, so you can recharge the Super faster.
- Anchors generate Orbs of Light on the initial tether, based on the number and toughness of the enemies caught.
