History of Eternity Beckons

Overview

Eternity Beckons is a legendary global quest tied to the Dares of Eternity activity, added with the 30th Anniversary Pack in December 2021. The activity is hosted by Xûr and Starhorse and is a free six-player mode. The quest takes one round, usually around 20-30 minutes.

Walkthrough

1. Open the Director and select the Eternity tab, next to the Tangled Shore on the map (GameRant), and launch Dares of Eternity.
2. Complete one round: you spin the Wheel of Adversity to pick enemy types for two arena encounters (The Valley and The Vault), clear the obstacle courses between them, and finish with a final boss encounter (such as Crota, Son of Oryx, Zydron, Gaunt Emissary or Valus Ta'aurc depending on the enemy type). Optional Lightning Rounds give bonus loot.

Rewards

The in-game data lists no direct reward for this quest. Completing a round of Dares of Eternity grants a Treasure Key to open a chest at Xûr's Treasure Hoard.
