Overview

Feather-Light is a Triumph within Destiny 2 that requires the player to successfully complete the Abyss encounter located in Stills activity. The primary condition for completion is ensuring that no participant accumulates 10 stacks of the Weight of Darkness debuff during the encounter. The triumph awards 10 Score.

The Abyss is the opening encounter of Crota's End, the raid that returned to Destiny 2 in Season 22. Destinypedia lists Feather-Light among the Master-difficulty challenges of Crota's End.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must engage the Abyss encounter within Stills. The triumph is awarded at the successful conclusion of the encounter, provided no player reached 10 stacks of Weight of Darkness during the fight.

Weight of Darkness builds while you are in the dark. At 10 stacks it slows movement and prevents running and double jumping. Standing beside a lit lantern removes the debuff, so the team manages stacks by moving from lantern to lantern.

  1. Light every lantern on the path. Lanterns reset the team's Engulfed in Darkness timer when lit. Skipping a lantern is the most common way to build stacks past 10.
  2. Pass the Chalice of Light in order. The Chalice holder gets the Enlightened buff, which lets them light lanterns and start the bridge. Decide the pass order before the encounter and number each player so swaps stay predictable.
  3. Charge the Chalice by killing Thrall. Faster kills charge the Chalice faster, which keeps the lantern rotation moving.
  4. Wait for stacks to drop. Stacks decay over time, so do not rush from lantern to lantern. Wait at each lantern until its light is fully established before moving on.
  5. Stay together. One player rushing ahead forces the rest of the team to speed up, which usually adds stacks.

Feather-Light generally cannot be combined with Conservation of Energy in the same run, because that challenge forces the team to skip lanterns.

Tips

  • Expect many attempts. Use practice runs to learn the lantern order before going for the triumph.
  • Make the lantern and Chalice calls out loud so the whole team follows the same order.
