First Ascent Strides

Overview

First Ascent Strides is a Legendary leg armor piece for Hunters, part of the First Ascent armor set from The Pale Heart in The Final Shape. The set has a 2-piece bonus, "Stack 'Em Up" (defeating targets with unique elemental damage grants a stacking bonus to Transcendence energy gains while Transcendence is inactive), and a 4-piece bonus, "Burn 'Em Down" (while Transcendence is active, using your grenade ability consumes all stacks to grant escalating grenade energy). Any four of the five pieces activate the full bonus, leaving a slot free for an Exotic.

The Hunter pieces are the Casque, Grips, Vest, Strides and Cloak. The Warlock pieces are the Hood, Gloves, Robes, Boots and Bond, and the Titan pieces are the Helm, Gauntlets, Plate, Greaves and Mark.

Acquisition

The set is handed out by Micah-10 in The Lost City as part of the Final Days quests, and is only available after the seventh campaign mission, Iconoclasm. The leg piece can be farmed in The Pale Heart.
