First Blood

Overview

First Blood is a Triumph that requires the player to land the first final blow of the match. Completing this objective awards one Medal.

How to complete

The final blow must come before any other final blow is registered in that match, so it has to be the first kill of the round. This is a Crucible objective, and the Iron Banner event is one place to play it.

1. Queue into a Crucible match. Iron Banner matches also count, since Iron Banner is a Crucible event.
2. Start the match aggressively. The first kill in the match is the target, so push toward the enemy spawn at the start rather than waiting for the fight to come to you.
3. Take the first kill with any weapon. Any final blow counts, whether from a primary, a grenade or a melee.

Tips:

• The earliest moments of a match are the window for this. Once a kill is registered by anyone, the triumph is out of reach for that match.
