First Light

First Light is a Crucible map from the original Destiny that was carried over into Destiny 2. It is a medium-large, sloped map set on the Moon in the Mare Cognitum region, and it was reused as a Lunar Battlegrounds map in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep.

The map has steep hills and cliffs, so one team starts on higher ground, although the high ground is less decisive because of several access points. Light vehicle combat is a key part of play, with Sparrows for quick movement, Pikes and Interceptors, and three stationary turrets placed around the map.
