History of Forensic Horology

Overview

Forensic Horology is a four-step Kepler world quest in The Edge of Fate, involving Ikora Rey and Temporal Disturbances tampered with by the Conductor’s Vex. The quest follows The Gorge Strangelet. The route below is the 2025 version of the quest.

Walkthrough

1. At the marked Temporal Disturbance on Kepler, follow the waypoint into the anomaly and scan it. Report the results to Ikora.
2. Meet Ikora, who has found a relic and asks you to investigate further.
3. Scan the next disturbance site on a nearby platform beside a terminal. The marker may be imprecise; follow the local route rather than returning to orbit.
4. After the scan, wait for Ikora’s call and listen through the conversation to complete the quest.

Rewards

The quest rewards a Fated Cipher and Legendary Gear. No specific gear subtype is listed.
