Freelance Gambit

Freelance Gambit is an option in Gambit that requires every player to be in a one-Guardian fireteam, so each team is made up of solo players rather than stacked groups. It has been available at all times since Season 16.

Season 16 changes

Season 16 also changed Gambit's Primeval phase and ammo. High-value targets drop Heavy Ammo bricks, and a Heavy Ammo Crate spawns at the front after each wave is cleared. Primeval Envoys spawn at fronts like enemy waves. While Envoys are on the field the Primeval is invulnerable to all incoming damage, and Envoys must be killed to remove that shield. New Envoys periodically spawn, which health-locks the Primeval.
