History of Ghoul

Revision 1178 by archivist at 2026-10-01 18:14:32

Ghoul is the title for the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon, earned by completing its ten seal triumphs. It is permanent and still obtainable (the dungeon is also part of the free Rite of the Nine rotation).

Overview

  • Activity: the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon.
  • Title granted: Ghoul.
  • Introduced: Game Rant says the title arrived with the dungeon in May 2023 during Season of the Deep. This date is from a single source, so verify it against the dungeon's page.
  • Gilding: the sources checked do not describe gilding for Ghoul.
  • Time: not stated. Most triumphs are won in a single run with the right fireteam, so plan for one fireteam-restricted run per subclass, plus one Master run and one solo run (the hardest part).

Required triumphs

  • Arise: complete the dungeon.
  • Alone in the Deep: complete all encounters solo without leaving the activity. You cannot go to orbit between or during encounters, and nobody may join before the last chest drops. Game Rant calls it the hardest. Hunter (Void) and Titan (Solar) are suggested, and Arbalest or Leviathan's Breath are suggested for the last two bosses.
  • Sovereign: complete the dungeon on Master difficulty.
  • In Memoriam: find and listen to all 12 memories of Darkness in the dungeon.
  • One of a Kind: complete all encounters with a full fireteam of the same class.
  • The Trinity: complete all encounters with a full fireteam of clanmates.
  • Shock Risk, Fire Hazard and Abyssal Void: complete all encounters with a full fireteam of Arc, Solar and Void subclasses respectively.
  • Ghosts of the Deep (triumph): the dungeon's collection (armor, weapons, emblem and Sparrow), including the Exotic The Navigator.

Tips

  • Complete the encounter-based subclass triumphs on the same run as One of a Kind or The Trinity where the fireteam fits.
  • Alone in the Deep also raises The Navigator's drop rate according to the search results checked.

Rewards

  • Ghoul title.
