Rite of the Nine

Rite of the Nine is a limited-time event that began May 6, 2025. It sits between the end of Episode: Heresy and the Edge of Fate expansion, and works like Into the Light. The featured dungeons are Prophecy, Spire of the Watcher and Ghosts of the Deep.

Each dungeon is offered at the Explorer tier (matchmaking, playable solo or with friends), and the harder Eternity and Ultimatum tiers. Eternity scores each encounter, and Ultimatum is aimed at the most skilled players with higher Power requirements and harder modifiers.

The event reprises weapons from each dungeon, including Judgment, Prosecutor, Relentless and A Sudden Death from Prophecy, Liminal Vigil, Long Arm, Terminus Horizon and Wilderflight from Spire of the Watcher, and Cold Comfort, Greasy Luck, New Pacific Epitaph and No Survivors from Ghosts of the Deep. Other rewards include the Nonary Manifold, an Astrograph shader, the Eternal title and emblems such as Seer, Esper and Foretold. The Crucible event Heavy Metal ran alongside it.
