History of Giant Slayer

Overview

Giant Slayer is a Triumph in Destiny 2. The objective requires the player to defeat a Champion. It is also one of the Vanguard Medals from the Guardian Games event.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, the player must defeat any enemy designated as a Champion. Champions appear in Lost Sectors and other activities. For example, the Gilded Precept Master Lost Sector includes Barrier and Unstoppable Champions, with more of them on Master difficulty.

Tips:

• Barrier Champions have a shield that must be broken; time a Barrier counter while the Champion is exposed.
• Unstoppable Champions are stunned with an Unstoppable counter before they can be finished.

Rewards

Giant Slayer is a Vanguard Medal, earned during Guardian Games playlist activities. The sources found are from the 2022 Guardian Games event, so later events may differ.
