The Gulch is a landing zone in the European Dead Zone. During Season of Defiance it started the secret AVALON exotic mission: collect six floating Vex cubes (30 seconds per orb) to reveal a hidden cave in the southeast of the area, where a friendly Harpy activates the portal. That unlocks Vexcalibur.
