Hardcase Haddock

Overview

Hardcase Haddock is a Triumph in Destiny 2 from the Season of the Deep fishing activity. The triumph asks for a single catch of the Hardcase Haddock, a Rare fish, and completes after one catch.

How to complete

Fish at one of the three fishing ponds: Winding Cove in the EDZ, the Cistern on Nessus, or Miasma on Savathûn's Throne World.

1. Press and hold to cast your line.
2. When the bobber goes underwater, press the button again to hook the fish.
3. Press interact shortly after a fish bites to get a Perfect Catch, which also adds to the Focused Fishing meter.
4. Keep fishing while the Focused Fishing meter, shown at the bottom left of the screen, fills. A higher meter improves the odds of rare catches.

Tips

Leave caught fish on the ground, clear the public event that appears at the pond, then collect the fish when the next pond spawns. This fills the next pond's meter. Fishing with a group also helps, since catches by the group fill the meter faster.

Rewards

The triumph awards no score or reward beyond the triumph itself.
