History of Haul

Overview

The Haul is a spherical object towed behind the Derelict, the Drifter's ship. It holds a pocket of Unknown Space belonging to the Nine Realms and is the arena for Reckoning and the Prophecy dungeon.

Origin

Lore says the Nine gave it to the Drifter, though he claims he found it somewhere "cold enough to snuff out your Light". Aunor Mahal calls it an "engine of pure potential" that can manifest almost any entity, and the Drifter uses it to make counterfeit Taken Primevals for Gambit Prime. Shin Malphur theorised it is a captured pocket of the Ascendant Plane. On Kepler it behaved unusually and was used to briefly resurrect an entity.
