Prophecy

Overview

Prophecy is a 1-3 player Dungeon in the IX Realms, reached through a gateway on the Derelict. It launched on June 9, 2020 in Season of Arrivals and was the first dungeon available to all players without an expansion. Recommended Power is listed as 1600 by Destinypedia. Variants: Explorer (matchmade), Eternity and Ultimatum. The Nine pose the question "What is the nature of the Darkness?"

Core mechanic

Players collect Light Motes and Dark Motes by standing in the matching light or dark zone, swap one type for the other, then deposit five matching motes at pillars. Enemies are mostly Taken with Toland the Shattered orbs marking pillars.

Encounters

1. Entrance tunnel: collect motes and cleanse pillars through a tunnel of Taken. A tunnel skip exists using Stasis or mobility abilities.
2. Phalanx Echo: cleanse four light pillars to remove the boss's immunity while Taken Psions and Knights flood the arena; Taken Goblins spawn in damage.
3. Wasteland (Heaven/Hell): a Sparrow section. Destroy three Taken Blights while avoiding Ultra Taken Minotaurs. A secret chest is in a northern structure.
4. Hexahedron: an endurance fight in a rotating cube. Cleanse the pillars marked by Toland orbs to rotate the room; two Centurion bosses finish it.
5. Singularity (Rainbow Road): platforming and Sparrow sections along floating diamonds; a second secret chest is in the final structure.
6. Kell Echo: final boss. Three clones guard pillars; deposit motes to banish each, kill the Ogre that spawns, then enter the portal to the real Echo. During damage the boss teleports and emits an aura; stay in it or gain Dark Entropy stacks (10 is lethal).

Rewards

Legendary weapons with the "Crossing Over" origin trait (e.g. Judgment, Darkest Before, Adjudicator) and two armor sets: CODA (Trials of the Nine themed) and Moonfang-X7. There is no Exotic weapon tied to the dungeon. Sources vary on exact loot by season; the list above follows Season of the Wish-era guides.
