History of Heavy Does It

Overview

Heavy Does It is the Grand Overture catalyst quest from Banshee-44 in the Tower, originally added with Season 16 (The Witch Queen). You need Grand Overture first. The imported current quest text gives the objectives below; older 2022 walkthroughs document a different activity route, so use the in-game objective for current calibration.

Walkthrough

1. Defeat 50 Cabal, 50 targets with Power weapons, and 15 targets rapidly.
2. Calibrate 200 points by completing Ops activities; the imported objective also says Crucible wins provide additional progress. Defeat 450 targets while using Grand Overture. Older 2022 guides instead reported progress from Crucible matches, Gambit wins, and Nightfall completions, and listed 400 targets for catalyst charge after the quest. Those are historical route/objective notes and should not be mixed with the current imported quest text.
3. Return to Banshee-44 to receive the calibrated catalyst.

Rewards

• Grand Overture Catalyst: missile explosions blind combatants, and those defeated by missiles explode.

Trivia

• Banshee: "Cabal tech is twice as thick as it needs to be, and three times as heavy."
