History of Heir Apparent Catalyst

Overview

Heir Apparent Catalyst is a Triumph in Destiny 2 for the exotic Heir Apparent, an Exotic Heavy Machine Gun added in Season of the Worthy and available through the Guardian Games event. The objective requires 700 defeats with the weapon. Progress is tracked as targets defeated (0/700).

How to complete

The catalyst is earned through the Competitive Catalyst quest, which is available only during the Guardian Games.

1. Get the Heir Apparent weapon from the Guardian Games. Its catalyst quest is a random reward from medallion deposits.
2. Deposit the additional medallions the quest asks for, complete contender cards, and defeat enemies in the daily focus playlist.
3. Once the catalyst is unlocked, equip Heir Apparent and defeat 700 opponents with it.

Catalyst

The Heir Apparent catalyst gives the weapon the Legion's Bulwark perk. It increases Arc Shield durability and partially reloads the magazine when the shield is destroyed.

Tips

• The 700-kill count is the long part, so equip Heir Apparent during normal play rather than only during the Guardian Games.
