History of High Tyrant

Overview

High Tyrant is a Legendary Void Pulse Rifle from the Equilibrium dungeon. Its intrinsic is Balanced Heat Weapon, it carries the Imperial Allegiance origin trait, and its random trait pools include Headseeker and Frenzy. The flavor text is Dredgen Sere’s “Show me you deserve a name.”

Acquisition

Drops from the Equilibrium dungeon on Venus, which requires Destiny 2: Renegades. The dungeon is a three-player activity with matchmaking off, launched from the Portal under the Lawless Frontier. Its loot pool includes six Legendary weapons and the Sage Protector armor set, and the two secret chests drop dungeon gear too. Guides differ on which encounter gives this weapon: the loot table does not assign weapons to encounters, and one guide describes the pool as dungeon-wide rather than tied to the final encounter with Dredgen Sere.
