History of Hot Swap

Overview

Hot Swap is a Season 18 origin trait for Dares of Eternity weapons. Switching to the weapon while you are damaged strongly increases its handling for a short duration. On Swords it instead increases charge speed, guard resistance and guard endurance.

It rolls on weapons such as Pardon Our Dust, BxR-55 Battler, Wastelander M5, Half-Truths, Retraced Path and The Other Half.

Tips

• Keep some damage on the character before switching to a Hot Swap weapon. The handling boost is tied to taking damage.
