Huckleberry Catalyst

Overview

The Huckleberry Catalyst is the catalyst for The Huckleberry, an exotic Grenade Launcher. The catalyst adds the Bull Rider perk: each kill with the weapon reloads its entire magazine instantly. The Huckleberry Catalyst triumph tracks the catalyst and the kills made with the weapon.

The triumph has two objectives: insert the catalyst and defeat 500 enemies with The Huckleberry.

How to complete

1. Get The Huckleberry. Kills made with the weapon before the catalyst drops still count toward the 500-kill requirement.
2. Farm the catalyst. It is a rare drop from playlist activities: Strikes, Crucible matches and Gambit matches. Drop rates are not published, so expect many sessions.
3. Insert the catalyst into The Huckleberry.
4. Get 500 kills with the weapon. Low-level enemies in groups, such as those at the Altar of Sorrow on the Moon, are a common way to rack up kills quickly.

Rewards

The triumph itself grants no point reward. The catalyst upgrade is the reward.
