Story

Saladin and Isirah travel to the village of Kepre and find it destroyed, with graves, a smoldering pit of bodies and a crude copy of an Iron Lord sigil. At the old Golden Age antenna site, Saladin confronts Fera, who now leads a raider pack holding the area. She defends her rule as necessary order, and the argument becomes a fight. Saladin kills her pack, then Fera herself. Isirah heals his wounds afterward, and Saladin treats the ordeal as a penance he has to endure.
