I - Ambush

Overview

I - Ambush is a Triumph in Destiny 2 for the first lore entry of the lore book Ripples, added in Season of the Lost (August 24, 2021).

The entry follows Caiatl's Cabal fleet as it ambushes a Hive Tomb Carrier that emerges from a rift near the Awoken Reef. After losing two destroyers to its main gun, Caiatl orders her flagship to ram it. On the other side of the Reef, Queen Mara Sov watches the battle and expects it to keep Xivu Arath occupied while she recovers her lost Techeuns. She and Petra Venj agree to target Savathûn first, though a glimpse of kestrel engravings on Mara's knife unsettles her.
