I - The Long Drift

Overview

I - The Long Drift is a Triumph in Destiny 2 for the first lore entry of the lore book Above All Else, added in Season of Plunder (2022). The next entry in the book is "II - The Whispering Dark."

The entry is narrated by Inaaks, a weaver whose House survives aboard a Ketch after their civilisation collapses. The House drifts through space, sends distress calls and finds only ruin at every settlement it reaches. Years later it meets a Ketch from the House of Dancers, and Eramis arrives to negotiate. The deal is lopsided: the Dancers offload some of their own people, along with a little Ether, onto the House. The entry closes with Inaaks facing the grim need to thin her House's numbers again.

How to complete

1. Open Collections and go to the Lore category, which holds every Lore book.
2. Find the book Above All Else and its first entry, "I - The Long Drift."
3. Lore entries unlock through collectibles and completing certain tasks, so keep playing the activities that unlock Above All Else entries until this one is available.
4. Read the entry in Collections once it unlocks.
