History of Imperative

Overview

Imperative is a Legendary Scout Rifle that fires Kinetic damage. It uses the High-Impact Frame, which is slow-firing with high damage and is more accurate when stationary, moving slowly, or aiming down sights. Its origin trait is Nano-Munitions. Its flavor text reads: "We must stop the weavers before they seal the Garden and begin to summon back its heart." -Ikora Rey

The curated roll is Chambered Compensator, Steady Rounds, No Distractions, Explosive Payload and Nano-Munitions.

Acquisition

Imperative was added during Season of the Undying as seasonal gear. It could be acquired as a reward from Vex Invasion world events on the Moon, or by completing runs of the Vex Offensive activity.

The weapon was reprised during Season of the Wish alongside other Undying-themed weapons. The current version drops from Season of the Wish activities, and it was also obtainable as reward loot from the Starcrossed Exotic Mission and from Riven's Lair and The Coil.
