The Coil
Delve ever deeper into the myriad pathways of Riven's Lair in The Coil. Face greater challenges and retrieve greater rewards.
Overview
The Coil is a roguelike-style seasonal activity for one to three players, introduced in Season of the Wish and set in Riven's Lair in The Dreaming City. You face Vex, Taken and Scorn enemies.
How to launch
Launch from Riven's Lair; Recommended Power is 1810. Variants are Matchmade and Private.
Mechanics
Each run has four rounds of a repeating structure: Sensorium hub, platforming section, encounter, boss. Collect Fused Wishing Glass from pots and enemies and spend it on temporary Dragon's Gifts (tiers costing 100, 250 and 400) within 60-second windows. Gifts boost damage, ability recharge and survivability.
