History of Impromptu-49

Overview

Impromptu-49 is a Legendary Pulse Rifle from SUROS, dealing Void damage in the energy slot. It uses the Adaptive Frame archetype and is a Banshee-44 (Gunsmith) reward weapon.

A 390 RPM pulse rifle with an unusually large 39-round magazine for its archetype. The curated roll features Ambitious Assassin with Ricochet or Accurized Rounds. Flavor text: "SUROS invites you to be spontaneous."

Acquisition

Earned as a reward from Gunsmith rank-up packages given by Banshee-44 in the Tower. Introduced in Season 2 (Curse of Osiris). It is not craftable and has no Adept version. Rank comes from Banshee-44's daily bounties and from dismantling Legendary and Exotic gear.
