Infinite Simulacrum

The '''Infinite Simulacrum''' is a device built by Brother Vance from Simulation Seeds and Vex architecture. It creates a small, pocket-sized version of the Infinite Forest.

Overview

Vance used the device to study the tones that the Lighthouses of Mercury emit after a Guardian dies. It drew him closer to the Darkness and affected his sanity. When the Black Fleet arrived and Vance refused to evacuate Mercury, he used the device to open the sealed gateway to the Infinite Forest.

Lore

The device appears in the "Trials and Tribulations" lore entry from Season of the Worthy (Chapter 9), which is unlocked through Trials of Osiris wins.
