History of Iron Protector

Overview

Iron Protector is a Triumph in Destiny 2. It asks for three defeats of opponents who are trying to capture allied capture zones, all within a single life. Its progress is tracked as Medals earned.

How to complete

Watch the zones your team holds. A team can only capture a zone while no enemy is in range (see Control), so opponents trying to take a zone are standing where you can target them. Defeat three of them without dying, since one death resets the count.

Tips

• Iron Banner matches use a variant of Control. When one team holds all three zones, a Hunt starts and locks the zones for 25 seconds, and kills during the Hunt are worth more to the team doing the hunting.
• Iron Banner also enables power level advantages, so lower-power players take more damage and deal less.
