History of Just in Case

Overview

Just in Case is a Legendary Sword that deals Solar damage. Its flavor text reads, "Even contingencies need contingencies." Its origin trait, Disaster Plan, greatly increases the charge rate of swords.

Popular PvE rolls pair Jagged Edge, Swordmaster's Guard, Relentless Strikes and Whirlwind Blade. A PvP roll pairs Jagged Edge with Heavy Guard, Unrelenting and Incandescent.

Acquisition

The weapon was introduced in Season of the Drifter and could be earned from Gambit Prime and The Reckoning.

It was also obtainable in Season of the Deep. Reported methods from 2023 guides are Fishing and engram focusing. Legendary fish caught at spots on Nessus, Savathûn's Throne World and the European Dead Zone are banked at the H.E.L.M. for Legendary rewards, and the fishing route requires owning Season of the Deep. Alternatively, Deep Engrams can be focused at the Sonar Station in the H.E.L.M., and Just in Case is on that list.
