History of Key for Free

Overview

Key for Free is a Triumph in Destiny 2. It requires opening Maeve's Stash in The Steppes in the Cosmodrome with Maeve's Key, which is obtained near Shaw Han.

How to complete

1. Travel to The Steppes in the Cosmodrome. Shaw Han is near the landing zone spawn point.
2. Get Maeve's Key from Shaw Han. Reported accounts differ: one says he hands it over for free, and another says it is claimed from the Exotic section of his vendor inventory.
3. Walk back to where you first arrived in The Steppes and enter the metal building behind the landing area. Maeve's Stash, a large blue-and-gold chest on a desk, is at the back of the room.
4. Interact with the chest to open it with Maeve's Key. The triumph completes immediately.
