History of Khvostov Catalyst

Overview

Khvostov Catalyst is the catalyst for the exotic Khvostov 7G-0X in Destiny 2, added with the Monument of Triumph update. The triumph requires defeating 700 targets with the Khvostov 7G-0X. The catalyst gives the weapon the Attrition Orbs perk, where sustained hits generate an Orb of Power.

Acquisition

The catalyst is a random drop with no guaranteed source. It can drop from ritual activities such as Vanguard Ops, Crucible and Gambit. You can also spend Exotic Orders at the Seasonal Hub to roll for it.

How to complete

1. Farm the ritual activities above until the catalyst drops.
2. Equip the Khvostov 7G-0X in matches so every defeat counts toward the Targets defeated objective, which runs to 700.
