Scout Rifle

Scout Rifles are precision, semi-automatic weapons built for long-range fights. They have the highest range values of any Kinetic or Energy weapon, and they reward accurate, skilled aim at distance. Each Scout Rifle is either Kinetic or Energy, and both types appear at every rarity. Rate of fire varies by frame, from about 120 RPM on the Aggressive frame (such as Dead Man's Tale and The Prophet) to 260 RPM for the fastest models such as Symmetry. Most fall between 150 and 200 RPM.

Notable examples include The Jade Rabbit, an Exotic Kinetic rifle with a range of 80, the highest in the tables, and Skyburner's Oath, an Exotic Energy rifle with a range of 70. Frame families include Precision, High-Impact, Lightweight, Rapid-Fire and Aggressive frames, each with its own fire rate and handling.
