History of Kuang Xuan

Overview

Commander Kuang Xuan was a human woman who led the K1 project, a joint venture between Aeronautics of China and the Clovis Bray corporation. K1 aimed to establish a lunar base to study an artifact buried beneath the Moon's surface.

Role

She oversaw the project as its research lead. The K1 site was later breached by unknown assailants during the Collapse. Her death is assumed rather than confirmed.

Noetic Effects

"Noetic Effects" is a Recusal Mirror Record in the Revelation lore book, filed by Dr. Wade Bow, who addresses his report to Commander Kuang Xuan. Bow reports that about 80 percent of the K1 crew is affected, with symptoms ranging from insomnia and nightmares to hallucinations, and that the neurochemical effects grow more frequent and severe over time. He recommends limiting direct exposure to thirty minutes per day, with teams rotating between sites each week.
