Lament

Overview

Lament is a triumph awarded for completing the "Lament" Major Arcana quest. It is worth 10 points and is obtained from the Reforging the Past triumph.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, players must finish the "Lament" Major Arcana quest within the Season of the Witch. This quest allows access to the Major Arcana of the same name in the Deck of Whispers.

The quest begins by visiting Cayde-6's memorial in the Tower. Players must then defeat Taken anywhere in the system to gather Insight. This requires visiting the memorial once and collecting 25 Insight.

After gathering Insight, players must visit the Lectern of Divination to unveil the mysteries of the card. This action adds the "Lament" Major Arcana card to the player's Deck of Whispers.

Once added, the card can be used in Savathûn's Spire and the Altars of Summoning. If the player holds at least 5 cards, one is selected at random before each encounter in these activities. Players can remove the card from their deck at any time by interacting with it in the Athenaeum. Removing the card prevents it from being drawn in an activity, but it can be added again by returning to the Athenaeum.
