Last Days on Kraken Mare

Last Days on Kraken Mare is a lore book introduced with Destiny 2: Shadowkeep. It follows several people on Titan's New Pacific Arcology during the end of the Golden Age and the start of the Collapse. Its entries unlock by completing Vex Offensive bounties. The book has nine entries: The Sixth Seal, Parts I and II; The Tenth Avatar; Faces Like Shields; Kalki's Burning Sword, Parts I and II; SUNDOWN DISTRESS; and The Water Sun, Parts I and II.

SUNDOWN DISTRESS

SUNDOWN DISTRESS is the seventh entry. It is a distress broadcast from the New Pacific Arcology declaring a SUNDOWN loss of habitability event with 2.9 million people aboard. It warns that Titan is no longer safe for human life, describes massive tidal forces of unknown origin and a growing tidal bulge, and expects severe icequakes once the tides recede. The arcology cannot contact other stations or ships and is broadcasting blind. It asks ships with interplanetary capability to come take in refugees, and the message then repeats.
