Overview

Legendary Marks are a currency introduced in Destiny: The Taken King, where they replaced Vanguard Marks and Crucible Marks and are shared across all characters. In Destiny 2 they are earned from the Monument of Triumph update, where each monument pays out 15 or more marks, and from Triumphs, Orders and weekly challenges from the Seasonal Hub. Marks cannot be bought with real money, Bright Dust or Silver.

Spending

In Destiny 2, Legendary Marks are spent at the Tenet vendors in the Tower, which sell cosmetics such as ships and Sparrows, Legendary engrams from past events, Lustrous armor from Solstice of Heroes and the Exotic Fafnir. Some rewards also need additional triumph completion.

Trivia

In Destiny 1, marks were also spent on Legendary armor and weapons and on upgrading Year 1 Exotics through weapon blueprints.
