Liberated

Overview

Liberated is a lore Triumph in Destiny 2 tied to a lore entry of the same name in the Shattered Suns book, added with Destiny 2: The Witch Queen in March 2022. The entry is spoken by Rhulk in an inner monologue addressed to an unnamed "Witness" figure.

Rhulk recounts his violence against his family, his regime and the city of Lubrae, and describes the collapse of the planet's sky after he manipulates the Sapphiric Sun. Overwhelmed by what he has done, he slips into an abyss, then emerges with his weapon and asks his interlocutor what he feels, to which he answers with relief.
