Light the Way

Overview

Light the Way is a Triumph tied to the Debris Field, an area of Ruins of Wrath in Season of the Lost. The objective is to investigate the Debris Field. Completing it awards 4 Triumph Score.

It is one of the Ascendant Mysteries in Ruins of Wrath: a multi-step challenge against Hive rituals that ends with an Ascendant Chest.

How to complete

1. Find the pillar of flame at the eastern end of the Debris Field. A Soulfire Exarch guards it. Defeat it to get a Flame Orb.
2. Escort the Flame Orb east into the tunnels and dunk it into a brazier to open a set of portals.
3. Each pillar in the room shows a Hive symbol, and each portal has a symbol above it. Enter the portal that matches the pillars. A wrong choice sends you back to the start, so note the symbols.
4. The correct portal leads to another Hive ritual with its own Soulfire Exarch. Defeating it spawns another Flame Orb. If none drops, go back through the portal to the symbol room, take the orb there, and repeat the brazier step.
5. Disrupt five Hive rituals in total. The last one is on an island south of the Debris Field.
6. Defeat the Soulfire Hierarch to spawn the Ascendant Chest at the center of the arena.
