History of Lucent Totem

Lucent Totems are the totems that shield Alak'nar, Retainer of Savathûn during the Lucent Tribute encounter in Altars of Summoning. Guardians defeat Tribute Bearers to collect Burdens of Tribute and deposit them at the totems to lower the boss's shield. Sources differ on the number needed: Destinypedia gives no count, while The Nerd Stash describes three Burdens per tribute, required each time Alak'nar's health drops by a third.
