Martian Missives

The Martian Missives is a lore book added in The Witch Queen. It is a series of messages from Savathûn, who writes under the names of several characters to deceive the Guardian. Entries are unlocked by progressing through the Witch Queen campaign.

The Caiatl I entry is signed by Caiatl and refers to the truce that followed Zavala's. It describes Cabal scouts recovering the body of a Human man on Nessus and identifying him as Osiris, then claims the Osiris in the Guardian's Tower is an impostor whose identity Ikora Rey wrongly confirmed. The entry also notes that Savathûn appeared as a trusted advisor when she delivered Xivu Arath to the Cabal.
