Masterwork: Weapon

Overview

Masterwork: Weapon is a Triumph that requires you to Masterwork a weapon. Its single objective is Progress.

How to complete

1. Open the weapon's perk menu from your inventory. The button in the bottom-left depends on the weapon's rarity.
2. Legendary weapons: the button reads "Upgrade your weapon's Masterwork tier." A Legendary weapon has 10 ranks, and reaching rank 10 makes it Masterworked. Each Legendary Masterwork gives a random +10 to one stat.
3. Exotic weapons: the button reads "Apply an Exotic Catalyst." The weapon must have a Catalyst slot. Obtain the weapon's Exotic Catalyst from specific activities, equip the weapon to start its challenge (typically 500 kills with that weapon), then hold the interact button on the Catalyst to apply it. Exotic bonuses are fixed, not random.

Each weapon type rolls only certain Masterwork stats. Bows, for example, roll accuracy or draw time, so you may need to farm for a specific roll.

Tip: Masterworked weapons generate Orbs of Power on multikills, which helps with Super recharge. Masterwork the weapons you use most.
