History of Metamorphosis (triumph)

Overview

Metamorphosis is a triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the completion of the associated Quest. The triumph awards 25 points and is associated with the acquisition of the Exotic Machine Gun Xenophage.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, the player must complete the quest linked to the Metamorphosis Lost Sector. This activity is located in the Miasma on Savathûn's Throne World. The sector is guarded by the enemy Dread Tatsrekaa.

The quest and activity were introduced in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen during Season of the Witch. During the activity, the Ghost detects a source of Light within the swamp, a phenomenon not encountered elsewhere in the area. The character Fynch notes that scans indicate the presence of Scorn alongside the Light, prompting an investigation into the anomaly.
