History of Neomuni

The Neomuni are the inhabitants of Neomuna, a hidden, technologically advanced human city on Neptune, met in Destiny 2: Lightfall. They descend from survivors of the Exodus Indigo colony ship who settled after the Collapse and stayed isolated for centuries, protected by the paracausal Veil and a Vex-built simulation hiding the city.

Technology and defenders

• The CloudArk is a network based on the Veil's paracausal energy that works as a virtual habitat.
• The Cloud Striders are cybernetically augmented defenders.

Lightfall

When the Black Fleet arrived, the Neomuni went into cryogenic suspension with their minds in the CloudArk, which is why Neomuna looks empty apart from virtual bodies. The Shadow Legion then besieged the city seeking the Veil.

The Neomuni are not described as having Light like Guardians.
