Notes on Testing and Analysis

Notes on Testing and Analysis is a Triumph in Destiny 2.

Overview

Notes on Testing and Analysis is a Triumph in Destiny 2, added with The Edge of Fate. It is a lore-card triumph tied to the lore entry of the same name in the book Tenets of AION.

Series

Tenets of AION is a lore book of nine entries, a transcription of an official document on the culture of the Aionians on Kepler. Notes on Testing and Analysis is the sixth entry, between Tenets of Testing and Analysis and Tenets of Iteration. The full list is in the Notes On Observation article.

Lore

A scientist's astrophysical experiment fails three times in ways her peers cannot explain, even though her math is correct and the data is off by an order of magnitude. She maps the conditions where the anomalous results appear and learns to avoid them, and concludes that something reaches back to her through the data and through dark matter. The entry presents this as the first time the community learned the Anomaly might speak, and urges followers to learn from every failure and to test repeatedly.

How to unlock

Entries of Tenets of AION unlock as you progress through the Edge of Fate campaign. The triumph's single objective is Progress (0/6).
