History of Notorious Armor

Notorious Armor is the top tier of Gambit Prime armor, above Illicit and Outlawed. Each Notorious piece grants three role points toward Gambit Prime roles (Reaper, Collector, Sentry or Invader), compared with one for an Illicit piece and two for an Outlawed piece. Synths from bounties and the end of each match are converted into Motes, which are wagered in The Reckoning to receive armor pieces. Some players have reported that the Prime Fashion triumph did not unlock after winning a Gambit Prime match in a full set of Notorious Reaper armor, as discussed in a Bungie forum thread.
