History of Novelties of Light

Overview

Novelties of Light is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that asks you to defeat 60 combatants in the Pale Heart using one of three new Light Super abilities: Storm's Edge for Hunter, Twilight Arsenal for Titan, or Song of Flame for Warlock. The progress bar tracks the total number of defeats made with these supers.

How to unlock the supers

The supers come from the fifth campaign mission, Ascent, in The Final Shape. Your class decides which super you receive. The only way to unlock them is through this mission, so each character you want to use has to play through the campaign.

How to complete

1. Complete Ascent on the character you want to use, which unlocks that class's Light super.
2. Equip the new super in your loadout.
3. Enter the Pale Heart and defeat combatants with the super until the triumph reaches 60.

Tips

• Each character needs its own campaign run to get its super, so the triumph is not finished by one class alone.
• New supers usually recharge quickly, so you can use them against a horde of enemies as soon as you unlock them.
