Offering to the Oracle

Overview

The Offering to the Oracle is a Legendary consumable, described in game as "A fragment of amethyst, offered in supplication to the mysterious Oracle Engine." It is used in the Dreaming City and is stored in the Quests inventory.

Acquisition

The Offering is the reward for the weekly Gateway Between Worlds bounty from Petra Venj, which costs 40 Dark Fragments. Completing it means running waves in the Blind Well. Wave tier sets the progress gained (Tier I 10%, Tier II 20%, Tier III 30%, Tier IV 50%), and Tier IV is unlocked by completing a Tier III run and depositing an Unstable Charge of Light bought from Petra. Once the bounty is complete, it is cashed in from the inventory. Petra also sells the Offering in the Dreaming City.

Use

Present the Offering at the Oracle in the Spine of Keres, south of the Divalian Mists. The terminal beside Sedia the Techeun accepts it. Presenting it spawns a chest with Dreaming City loot and a Queen's Bounty, and each character can turn in only one Offering per week.

In the third week of the curse cycle, when the curse is strongest, presenting the Offering opens a portal to the Queen's Court instead. The normal rewards then come from a chest beside the throne there.
