History of Ops

Overview

"Ops" are the activity categories on the The Portal screen. The Portal has four tabs:

• Solo Ops: activities meant for a single player, including Strikes. Modifiers can improve the chance of better loot.
• Fireteam Ops: mostly three-player activities, such as Onslaught, Strikes, Nightmare Hunts and replayable seasonal missions.
• Pinnacle Ops: the exotic missions available during The Edge of Fate. Solo players can use Fireteam Finder matchmaking for them.
• Crucible Ops: most Crucible PvP modes.
