Outer Ruins

The Outer Ruins are an area of the Forest of Echoes destination. They hold one of the Trivial Mysteries: a chest in the ruins east of the crypt entrance, reached through an Awoken barrier at the back of the second floor. Players break the barrier at a Barrier Breach marker, then reach the chest on a floating platform.

Location

The Outer Ruins are part of the Forest of Echoes. The Trivial Mystery "Twofold Ward" sends players here: hop up the ruined pillar to the second floor, loop around the pillar to the left to find the Barrier Breach marker, activate it, and run through the barrier to the chest.

Bearings

The Bearings data cache sits at the top of a tower reached by floating slabs. One route starts at the cathedral: collect In Memory, return to the cathedral, find the rocky wall on the left with an Ascendant Anchor, defeat the Taken in the next area, activate the True Sight artifact, and follow the floating slabs past a ledge with a loot chest and a second True Sight artifact to the tower top.
