History of Pathfinder (triumph)

Overview

Pathfinder is a historical Guardian Ranks objective requiring two Pathfinder node completions through the Vanguard, Crucible, or Gambit activity screens.

How to complete

In the original ritual system, open one of those activity screens and its Pathfinder board. Complete two node objectives through qualifying activities, then claim the completed nodes. The requirement is two nodes, rather than a full board reset or two complete journeys.

The core ritual Pathfinder system retired with Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate in July 2025. Its original completion route is no longer available; the Pale Heart Pathfinder is a separate destination system.
